Hate her or love her, former prosecutor turned headline mouthpiece, Headline News Network's Nancy Grace is a truly polarizing figure; one that may or not be helping to shape the modern judicial process.
For those not familiar with her work, Ms. Grace anchors a quasi-news show that "reports" on various on-going legal proceedings regarding various crimes, and becomes quite adamant in voicing her opinions, not only in regards to who she feels is responsible for whatever crime she is covering, but in bringing others over to her way of thinking.The question though, is, after all is said and done, is what she does helpful or hurtful, and if so, does it matter.
The Case For Her
Our constitution does guarantee freedom of speech, even to famous or annoying people, and taking away her right to vent her views on a nationally broadcast television show would surely lead to a loss of other rights we hold so dear.
